Day 1: Arrival in Manali

  • Morning: Arrive in Manali via bus or flight (from Bhuntar Airport, 50 km away).

  • Check-in at your hotel in Manali.

  • Afternoon: Explore Mall Road, the heart of Manali. Shop for local handicrafts, woolens, and souvenirs, and enjoy local food.

  • Evening: Visit Hadimba Temple, a serene wooden temple surrounded by a cedar forest, and take a peaceful walk through Van Vihar (a beautiful park nearby).

  • Dinner: Enjoy dinner at your hotel or a cozy restaurant on Mall Road.

Day 2: Manali Sightseeing

  • Morning: After breakfast, head to Solang Valley, one of the most popular tourist spots near Manali.

    • Activities include paragliding, zorbing, and skiing (during winter).

    • Enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains and glaciers.

  • Afternoon: Visit Rohtang Pass (if visiting in summer, as it's closed in winter due to snow). Located at 3,978 meters, it offers spectacular views of snow-covered peaks.

    • (If Rohtang is closed, head to Marhi or Gulaba for a similar experience.)

  • Evening: Return to Manali, relax, and explore Old Manali. This area has a quaint vibe, with cafes, backpacker guesthouses, and local markets.

Day 3: Kullu Valley & Naggar

  • Morning: After breakfast, take a day trip to Kullu Valley, which is about an hour's drive from Manali.

    • Visit Kullu for its temples, such as Raghunath Temple, and explore the Kullu Shawl Factory.

    • Take a walk along the Beas River or engage in river rafting (if in season).

  • Afternoon: Head to Naggar, a picturesque village known for its Naggar Castle and the beautiful Roerich Art Gallery. The castle offers magnificent views of the valley.

  • Evening: Return to Manali and relax after a full day of exploration.

Day 4: Excursion to Manikaran & Kasol

  • Morning: Visit Manikaran, located about 85 km from Manali (approximately 2-3 hours' drive). It’s famous for its hot springs and beautiful views of the Parvati Valley.

    • Visit Manikaran Gurudwara, which is not only a spiritual place but also has natural hot springs believed to have healing properties.

    • The area is also popular with trekkers and backpackers, and you'll find various cafes offering beautiful views of the river.

  • Afternoon: Explore the nearby village of Kasol – often referred to as "Mini Israel" due to its vibrant backpacker culture.

    • Take a stroll along the Parvati River or enjoy a small trek to Kheerganga (if you're up for a day-long hike).

  • Evening: Return to Manali. Relax at your hotel, or enjoy a quiet evening at a cafe.

  • Dinner: Enjoy local or international cuisine in Kasol or Manali.

Day 5: Explore Local Villages & Departure

  • Morning: Take a short trip to nearby villages like Vashisht (famous for hot springs and temples) and Tirthan Valley, known for its untouched beauty and nature.

  • Afternoon: Relax in the tranquil surroundings of the villages or explore nearby treks like the Jogini Waterfall Trek or Bhrigu Lake Trek (for adventure seekers).

  • Evening: Check-out from your hotel, and head back to your departure point (Manali Bus Station or Bhuntar Airport).

    • If you have time, you can visit the Manali Sanctuary or simply enjoy the view of the Beas River before leaving.
