Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
Transfer to your hotel and check-in.
Afternoon: Explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and nearby attractions like the Hanuman Dhoka Palace and Kumari Ghar (residence of the living goddess).
Evening: Visit the famous Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) for panoramic views of the city and surrounding hills.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Morning: Visit Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple on the banks of the Bagmati River.
Visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and most important Tibetan Buddhist stupas in Nepal.
Afternoon: Visit Patan Durbar Square and explore the ancient temples and shrines in the city of art and architecture.
Evening: Relax in Thamel (the tourist hub), shop for souvenirs, and enjoy local food.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Morning: Early breakfast and take a scenic drive or flight to Pokhara (around 6-7 hours by road or 30 minutes by flight).
Afternoon: Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and visit Phewa Lake. You can rent a boat and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, with a view of Machapuchare (Fish Tail Mountain).
Evening: Take a leisurely stroll along the lake promenade, and explore local cafes and shops.
Day 4: Pokhara – Sarangkot Sunrise and Adventure
Early Morning: Visit Sarangkot for a stunning sunrise view over the Annapurna and Machapuchare ranges.
Breakfast: Return to Pokhara for breakfast.
Morning: Enjoy activities like paragliding, zip-lining, or trekking to places like Devis Fall or Gupteshwor Cave.
Afternoon: Visit the International Mountain Museum or relax by the lake.
Evening: Explore the lakeside area and enjoy a peaceful evening.
Day 5: Pokhara to Chitwan National Park
Morning: After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park (approximately 4-5 hours by road).
Afternoon: Check-in at a jungle resort. Enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife of the park.
Evening: Take a Tharu cultural dance performance or relax at the resort.
Day 6: Chitwan National Park Safari
Morning: Go on a jungle safari (either by jeep or elephant) to spot wildlife like rhinos, tigers, crocodiles, and various bird species.
Afternoon: Take a canoe ride on the Rapti River to spot more wildlife and enjoy the serene environment.
Evening: Enjoy another cultural program or relax at your resort.
Day 7: Return to Kathmandu
Morning: Drive back to Kathmandu (around 5-6 hours by road).
Afternoon: If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping or explore nearby sites such as Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
Evening: Departure from Kathmandu or spend a final night depending on your flight schedule.
Optional Extensions:
Trekking: If you have more time and are into trekking, you can go for short treks like the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek or longer treks like the Annapurna Base Camp trek.
Nagarkot: Add an extra day to visit Nagarkot for beautiful mountain views and to experience Nepal's rural landscapes.
